About the Jewelry at GLSjewelry.com
This is handcrafted jewelry made of quality components. Wire wrapped jewelry is done with is fine silver, sterling silver or gold-filled wire. See the About page for more info on gold-filled wire. You'll find beaded jewelry as well as wire wrapped jewelry. Pendants & necklaces, earrings, pins, rings, & bracelet stones are glass or semi-precious gemstones and most cabachons are hand-cut. Much of the glass is handmade, either borosiclica or Moretti. Metal beads are either sterling silver (most from Bali, Turkey, or India), gold-filled, or pewter. The bracelets in general are made large enough for anyone to wear. Most sizes are adjustable. Most earrings can be converted to post, leaver-backs or clips. Chainmaille chains & bracelets are an exciting new addition, and will gradually be incorporated. The most popular gemstones I use are: Turquoise, Citrine, Carnelian, Lapis, Rhodochrosite, Malachite, Black Onyx, Garnet, Pearl, Labradorite, Amethyst, Rainbow Moonstone, Unakite, Opal, Rose Quartz, Hematite, Chrysocolla, Cubic Zirconium, Agate, Chalcedony, Fluorite.
